Stephen Colbert Book Signing
On October, 19, 2007, Stephen Colbert appeared at Lisner Auditorium. The actual event was interview-style with Tim Russert as the interviewer. This video is of the book signing after the event.
We arrived late and had to sit in the back of the auditorium but the signing actually didn’t take as long as I thought it would. We weren’t allowed to bring anything but the book on the stage either so there’s no “in your face” shot of Stephen Colbert.
I put this video together from damaged footage so there are some quirks.

Fireworks

I can’t remember the last time, I saw the fireworks on the National Mall. As a matter of fact, I can’t remember the last Independence Day when I wasn’t out of town or out of the country. At any rate, I went downtown to see the fireworks from the comfort of the roof at work.
