Anti-War Protest 3-19-2008

I went for lunch and stumbled upon one of the many anti-war protests in Washington, DC yesterday.
About 3 minutes in there was an altercation that I didn’t fully capture as I was trying to figure out what was going on and if I needed to move.

Last Thursday, I was supposed to be on a flight to Houston for work. When I got to the airport I saw an email on my Blackberry that said “Don’t go. Please confirm receipt.” The dilemma then was that I couldn’t go home due to traffic and HOV restrictions so I had to find something to do.
Happy Birthday … Twice

Yesterday was my father’s birthday so I drove up to the Philly suburbs. It was hilarious at the Hibachi place as the guy next to my father was determined that he was going to get the gong for this birthday.
My aunts and cousin wrap it up with two versions of Happy Birthday.

Stowe Boyd gave an interesting talk about Twitter as a flow application at DC Media Makers Meetup/Tweetup and afterwards we got together for food and drink at Capitol City Brewing Co.
