This fountain sits in the plaza between the National Gallery of Art‘s East and West buildings. I was just sitting here recording the fountain when this happened. I’d normally be annoyed but she’s the only thing that makes this video interesting.
It’s Lumiere-inspired but obviously not a Lumiere.
I shot this video while sitting in traffic. Depending on your approach into the city, a Washington, DC, traffic experience can include planes, trains, automobiles and the obligatory talk radio.

I voted in the Potomac Primaries (also known as the Chesapeake Primaries) which includes the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. For the first time that I know of, these primaries actually matter in the nomination of presidential candidates from the Democratic and Republican parties.

I think this video is very Escher-esce. I got this idea on Wednesday when I was on Skype. I kept pointing the camera at the screen. After that I went to Seesmic to record my first video and I ended up again pointing the camera at the screen and as I moved the camera around I noticed some cool shapes. That Seesmic video was never recorded.
This video was done with an EyeToy camera for PlayStation 2. Incidentally, Windows Movie Maker is the only video editing software that recognized the camera so I used that to record this.
